Aspire Technology Solutions reported revenue of £50.8m in the year to 28 February 2026, up from £35.1m the year before. Operating profit rose from £6.9m to £10.7m.

The company, based at Pipewell Quay on the Gateshead bank of the Tyne, provides managed IT services, cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure to small and mid-sized businesses. Headcount rose from 283 to 322 during the year. Aspire recruited 27 apprentices and recorded staff churn of 5 per cent.

Recurring revenue, the contracted income that underpins a managed services business, grew by 35 per cent.

Aspire has also expanded through acquisitions. Earlier this year, it acquired NVT Group, a managed service provider headquartered in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.

The purchase was Aspire's third acquisition in two years. The deal followed fresh funding from existing shareholder LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, and new minority investor Federated Hermes.

The acquisition gives the Gateshead-headquartered group an operating base in central Scotland. BusinessLive reported that the funding round valued Aspire at around £200m.

Reaching £100m by 2030 would require average annual revenue growth of about 18 per cent over the next four years.
