Gateshead-based Aspire Technology Solutions has acquired Warrington-based managed services provider Sentis Managed Solutions, adding more than 80 customers and an established presence in North West England.
The deal extends Aspire’s reach beyond the North East and Scotland, where it acquired NVT Group in March. It is the Gateshead group’s fourth acquisition since 2024, following Cloud Cover IT in January 2024, CloudCoCo’s managed IT services business in November 2024 and NVT Group in March this year.
All Sentis employees will join Aspire and trade under its brand. Sentis co-founder Neil Homer will stay to support integration, while co-founders Martin Perry and Michael Cox will step back from day-to-day operations.
Homer says the deal gives Sentis access to Aspire’s investment and wider capabilities while allowing it to retain customer relationships. He says: “This is an exciting milestone for the business.”
Aspire founder and chief executive Chris Fraser says: “Our previous acquisitions have given us a clear understanding of what effective integration requires.”
Review North’s August coverage records Aspire revenue of £50.8m in the year to 28 February 2026. Sentis’s financial figures and the purchase price have not been disclosed, so the deal’s effect on Aspire’s revenue cannot be quantified.
