Sunderland-based cyber security company OneClickComply has raised £1m to develop its compliance platform, expand sales and customer service, with four new jobs planned.

The round includes investment from the North East Accelerate Fund, managed by Mercia Ventures, plus the Venture Sunderland Fund and Northstar EIS Growth Fund, both managed by Northstar Ventures.

Mercia said the latest funding takes the company’s total raised to more than £2.4m. It said the business now employs 12 people and serves dozens of customers, ranging from a leading fast food brand to sole traders.

OneClickComply was launched in 2024 and was previously known as FAT32. Northstar Ventures led a £625,000 funding round in 2024, including £350,000 from the Venture Sunderland Fund and £200,000 from the North East Innovation Fund, alongside angel investment.

In August 2025, Northstar announced a further £580,000 round that included £275,000 from the Venture Sunderland Fund, angel investment and a significant Innovate UK grant. The company said at the time that it had secured more than £1.2m in investment.

OneClickComply says its platform automates up to 90 per cent of the work involved in meeting the requirements of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and SOC 2. It monitors IT systems, automates penetration testing and vulnerability management, generates policies and gathers information for auditors.

The company says it can also configure security settings across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and AWS with a single click. Once the initial compliance process is complete, it says the platform detects and fixes issues that arise to maintain ongoing compliance.

OneClickComply co-founder and chief executive Connor Greig said: “Every business now gets asked to prove its systems are secure, usually by a customer who’s about to sign.”

“The answer shouldn’t be three months and a consultant. We automate 90% of the work, fix the issues we find instead of just reporting them, and keep everything in place afterwards, which is the part everyone forgets about.”

The company says monthly recurring revenue doubled in the six months before the announcement and that it is targeting similar growth in the following six months.
